Amber Auger, RDH, Mph

Amber Auger, RDH, MPH is a practicing dental hygienist and clinical innovations implementation specialist. She specializes in taking the latest science and creating customized protocols to meet your practice’s goals. With over 15 years of experience in the dental industry, Amber provides practical protocols for technology implementation, refocuses on the patient experience, and utilizes systemic approaches to Periodontal Therapy. Amber is the 2019 Award of Distinction recipient, laser trainer, a monthly contributor to RDH Magazine, featured author for Dentistry IQ, Editor of RDH Graduate Newsletter, and host of #AskAmberRDH. Amber also provides preventive services abroad yearly and is always seeking dental professionals to join her team.

Chad C. Duplantis, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Duplantis received his D.D.S. degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dental School in 1999. He then continued with post-doctorate training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2000. He has also received his Fellowship degree from the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been in private practice since 2000 in the North Fort Worth, Texas area. He is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Duplantis has always had an interest in “high-tech” dentistry and has been incorporating CAD/CAM and digital technology in his practice since 2004. Dr. Duplantis has written and published several articles regarding digital dentistry and workflows for various dental publications.


Dr. Horowitz completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh and earned his DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a general practice residency at the Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. In 1992, Dr. Horowitz founded the Carolina Center for Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, a multi-disciplinary group practice. His main interests are cosmetic smile rehabilitation, complex restorative cases, treatment of sleep disordered breathing, orthodontics and TMJ disorders. An admitted C.E. “Junkie”, Dr. Horowitz has earned fellowship from the AGD where he is actively involved as a past-president and delegate for South Carolina. He serves as a mentor at the Kois Center for Advanced Dental Studies and is an instructor for Sleep Group Solutions. His dental affiliations include the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Carolina Sleep Society, American Equilibration Society, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. 

Lon McRae, DDS
Dr. McRae graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 1996. He has since built a successful practice in Meridian, Idaho receiving recognition as the best dental practice in the Treasure Valley. He is a respected lifetime qualified member of the elite Crown Council Dental Association, American Dental Association, International Academy of Dental Implants (IADI), International Academy of Oral Medicine of Toxicology (IAOMT), and International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI). Dr. McRae has been a clinical mentor for cosmetic dentistry with the Hornbrook Clinical Education Group since 2005. He has taught aesthetic dentistry both nationally and internationally. Dr. McRae has had his work published in many publications including The Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is the President of the International Academy of Dental Implantology (IADI), a diplomate of the IADI, and a fellow of the ICOI. He is the clinical director of implants for Utah Valley Dental Lab as well as the developer of the One Stage Implant with Improved Immediate Loading.
Petar Tofovic, DMD, MPH

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Tofovic went on to complete a General Practice Residency (GPR) Program at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. After a few years as an associate, he opened his 4 operatory PPO dental office in 2011, where he started using Medical Billing in 2014. Dr. Tofovic puts great emphasis on continuing education, research-based dentistry and improving the patients dental experience by incorporating the latest applicable technologies and advancements. Led by his passion for technology’s role in dentistry, Dr. Tofovic is also an Adjunct Faculty at the College of Dental Medicine of Illinois at Midwestern University and a Visiting Faculty at the Spear Educational Campus in Scottsdale, AZ and Charlotte, NC.

Bekah Yoxthimer, DDS
Her desire to give back led her to be a part of the “No Vet Left Behind Program” where she provides free dental work to veterans. Dr. Yoxthimer also participates in Dental Community Day, providing free dental care to those in need. She is part of Team Smiles + Cincinnati Bengals, where she provides free dentistry to children that don’t have access to care. This summer she and her fourteen-year-old went on a dental missions trip to Nigeria. Thanks to Midway Dental for donating the dental supplies for the trip. The dental team was just her and her son. They provided extractions and cleanings to the children at three different orphanages. Dr. Yoxthimer believes that being a dentist is great, but the most fulfilling part is being able to help those in need with dentistry.
